This is an Orthoceras fossil necklace made with macrame, waxed threads and finished with an alpaca silver wire clasp. Orthoceras were prehistoric squid that lived during the Ordovician-Triassic time periods, 488-200 million years ago! This type of fossil is found in Morocco, North Africa.
